Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stocketa (“Stocketa”, “we”, “us”), the inventory and billing software for Windows operated by Husen Mandli, handles information when you install and use the Stocketa desktop app, including copies installed from the Microsoft Store.
- Your business data (products, stock, bills, customers, vendors, payments) is stored only on your own computer. We never receive it.
- We receive only the shop details you enter when starting a free trial, your license information, and a device identifier, so we can provide and protect your license.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.
1. Data that stays on your computer
Stocketa works offline. Everything you record in the app — products and stock, bills and sales, returns, customers and loyalty points, vendors, purchases and payments, uploaded documents, reports and backups — is saved in a database on your own computer. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. Backup files are created only when you choose to, and are saved where you choose. You are responsible for the security of your computer and your backup files.
2. Data we collect
The app connects to our license server (stocketa.husenmandli.in) only for the purposes below.

Device identifier
The app creates a code from your Windows installation’s built-in machine ID. The code is a one-way scrambled value: it cannot be used to read anything on your computer and does not contain your name, files or hardware serial numbers. We use it only to link a license or trial to one computer and to prevent misuse of free trials.
IP address
When the app contacts our server, the server sees your internet (IP) address, as with any website. We record it briefly only to block abuse, such as repeated failed attempts, and these records are deleted automatically, normally within a few days.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the free trial and issue, activate, validate and renew licenses.
- To contact you about your trial, license, renewal or support requests, using the phone, WhatsApp number or email you gave us.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, such as repeated free trials or one license used on many computers.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it.
4. Who we share data with
- Hosting provider: our license server and database are hosted by Hostinger, which stores the data on our behalf.
- Google Fonts: the app loads its text fonts from Google’s font service when online, so Google receives your IP address for that request. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft: if you install Stocketa from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download, installation and any purchase under Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. We do not receive your Microsoft account details.
- Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law or a valid request from a government authority.
5. How long we keep data
- Account and license data: kept while your trial or license is active and for as long as needed to provide renewals and support.
- When an account is deleted (at your request or after it is no longer renewed): your account and license records are removed from our server. We keep a copy of the deleted account record for our business and accounting records.
- Free-trial record: to stop the same computer or phone number from taking another free trial, we permanently keep the device identifier and shop phone number that started a trial, even after the account is deleted.
- IP address records: deleted automatically, normally within a few days.
6. Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to:
- ask what information we hold about you;
- correct shop details that are wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete your account and data (subject to the free-trial record and records we must keep, as described above);
- withdraw consent or raise a concern about how your data is handled.
To delete the data stored on your own computer, uninstall the app and delete its data folder
(%APPDATA%\InventoryBilling), along with any backup files you created.
Uninstalling alone does not delete your business data, so it is still there if you reinstall.
Microsoft Store installs are different: Windows keeps the app's data in storage private to the app and deletes it when the app is uninstalled. Make a backup from the app before uninstalling if you want to keep your records.
We will respond to requests within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. Security
All communication between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS) and signed so that it cannot be faked or altered. Access to our admin system is password-protected and limited to us. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children
Stocketa is business software intended for shop owners and their staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version on this page. Significant changes may also be announced in the app.
